EXTREME COMMUNITY MAKEOVER:

OPENING DOORS TO DEEPER CONNECTION

I don't know about you, but it's been fun for me to hear more of the stories about how our Extreme Teams leaders got involved in Extreme Community Makeover through sharing their volunteer stories. This month we are going to hear from Jean, who is the team leader for the Neighborhood Team. The goal of this team is to connect neighbors and to build stronger communities and Jean embodies that spirit at each Work Day she attends.

“I knew I wanted to be more involved, especially since my own neighborhood is one that is served regularly through ECM.  I believe in assets-based community development. Serving with neighbors in practical / tangible ways opens doors to deeper connection and relationship,” says Jean. Read the full story
