About Extreme Community Makeover (ECM)
Extreme Community Makeover partners with Denver residents to help them strengthen and care for their neighborhoods by bringing volunteers, residents, and local partners together for hands-on projects that improve homes, clean alleys, remove graffiti, and create safer, more connected communities.

Each Work Day brings together volunteers, residents, and partners to care for homes and alleys across Denver. These days build community, reduce blight, and help neighbors remain in the places they love.

A Neighbor’s Story
Dian has called Westwood home for 73 years. After decades of working the night shift, keeping up with yard work became harder. For the past few years, Extreme Community Makeover volunteers have partnered with Dian to care for her yard, clean her alley, and help her stay in the home she loves.
