ECM Appreciates Our Volunteers!

Extreme Community Makeover appreciates its volunteers. In 2015, we had over 2,800 volunteers participate in serving our eight Denver neighborhoods (Barnum, Elyria, Globeville, La Alma/Lincoln Park, Swansea, Villa Park, West Colfax and Westwood). Extreme Community Makeover wholeheartedly stands behind Denver Days effort to encourage neighbors to get to know their neighbors by hosting block parties, picnics, and service projects with the focus on small, organic gatherings.

ECM will be hosting two Denver Days events this year:

On Saturday, July 30, 2016, we’ll be hosting service projects for Denver Days in the Globeville Neighborhood. We are expecting 200 volunteers, with 30+ projects scheduled. The groups participating are Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference, along with individuals. On Sunday, August 7, 2016, our annual volunteer appreciation BBQ, ECM Fun Day, will be held at Barnum Park. This event is a time to celebrate and appreciate those who have volunteered with us throughout the year. There will be food, games, and lots of fun. Click here to get tickets.slider-funday
