August Extreme Endeavors: What's Happening With ECM This Month
I hope you are enjoying this last month of summer when the weather starts cooling down (some days) and the days get a little shorter. We have a couple of volunteer days coming up this month, if you haven't had a chance to volunteer yet this year. But we also have our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ coming up on Sunday! I always enjoy this event and getting a group of people together who enjoy volunteering and spend their time making a difference in the lives of others. I hope you can join us. | Volunteer Appreciation BBQ : August 11 Our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ is coming up on Sunday, August 11 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Barnum Park (360 Hooker Street, Denver, 80219). We'll have games (corn hole, kickball, volleyball), volunteer awards, and dinner from KT's BBQ. Dinner will be served at 5:30. I hope you can join me to celebrate volunteering in Denver! |
| Volunteer Happy Hour : August 22 Our next Volunteer Happy Hour is coming up on Thursday, August 22 from 5:30-7:00 pm at The Rackhouse Pub. The added twist for this happy hour is that everyone who brings a box of heavy duty trash bags (up to the first 20 people) will get a free beer! |
Painting with a Purpose : September 5
We will be hosting a fun event where you can get your hands dirty and paint...but paint with a purpose! Get some friends together and join us for a fun evening on Thursday, September 5 from at 6:30 pm at Painting With a Twist - LoDo. Tickets are $42/person, which includes the canvas, supplies, and snacks. 75% of ticket sales will be donated to Extreme Community Makeover. Get your tickets below.
