Volunteer Appreciation BBQ!

On Sunday, August 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Extreme Community Makeover is hosting our annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ and we would love for you to join us! We always have a blast at our BBQs. It's a day of fun and celebrating volunteering in Denver.

We will be at one of Denver's best parks, Barnum Park (360 Hooker Street, Denver, CO 80219) with games, food, and fun for the whole family, along with volunteer awards.

The Volunteer Appreciation BBQ is ECM's participation in Denver Days and our Saturday Work Day on August 10th is also in response.

What is Denver Days?

Mayor Michael B. Hancock envisioned a city where neighbors not only knew their neighbors but as a result felt safer and more connected to the communities they call home.

Six years ago the Mayor turned that vision into reality by creating Denver Days, a program during the first week of August that encourages neighbors to get to know their fellow neighbors by hosting block parties, picnics, and service projects with the focus on small, organic gatherings.

The 2019 Denver Days event will be from August 3rd - 11th.
