Board of Directors Spotlight - Randy
Randy Fons is the president of the ECM board. He has been on the board for a year and has been a member of the Projects Extreme Team since 2020. Keep reading to hear more from Randy about his experience being on the ECM board.
What is your professional background/experience and how do you bring that to the ECM board?
I am a lawyer with an accounting background. I try to bring my analytical training to my board responsibilities.
What about ECM’s mission drew you to join the board?
It's a great, hands on, practical way to give back to the community.
How has being on the board enhanced/changed your view of ECM?
Watching how the entire organization works, and how decisions are made to best serve the community, really has provided insight into what a great organization, with a great mission, ECM is.
How do you see ECM’s impact on Denver neighborhoods?
The impact is so real-time and meaningful for the residents of the communities we serve. It provides instant, practical, help to the residents.
