A typical day might include the following:

• Support fundraising events, such as the Spring Kickoff, Supper Club, and Art is in the Air

• Support the Neighbor to Neighbor Club (monthly donor program) through new appeals and thank you efforts for current donors

• Develop educational pieces to be used in fundraising initiatives

• Create story lines to be used in social media and marketing collateral, including the newsletter

• Send church involvement information and complete follow-up steps to build those relationships

• Send corporate sponsorship information and complete follow-up steps to build those relationships

• Manage details for implementing fundraising campaigns

• Create impact reporting strategies

• Oversee thank you cards and gifts to both one-time and ongoing donors

• Access donor contacts through Kindful

• Assist with additional projects and tasks, as needed

• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Build relationships within the organizational network and within the communities where the organization works

• Exemplify good listening skills

• Take initiative as a self-starter

• Show capability in working both independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders

• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Have knowledge of Canva, Kindful, MailChimp, and SendOutCards or be willing to learn the systems if not familiar with them
