Denver Neighborhood Parks
Spring is here, and summer is just around the corner. One of the best things about summer is enjoying our neighborhood parks. Here are a list of parks that reside in some of the eight Denver neighborhoods Extreme Community Makeover serves in. Make sure and check them out this summer!
Swansea Park
2650 East 49th Avenue : Denver, CO 80216
Swansea Park has a recreation center with lots of activities for the family to enjoy. The park is located in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. The southwestern corner of the neighborhood is home to the Denver Coliseum.
La Alma / Lincoln Park
1325 West 11th Avenue : Denver, CO 80204
La Alma / Lincoln Park is in a diverse residential area known for the Arts District on Santa Fe Drive, home to small galleries, street murals and Museo de las Americas. Brewpubs and taquerias keep the area lively after dark, while landmark steakhouse Buckhorn Exchange serves buffalo and elk under mounted game heads. The large namesake park has sports fields, playgrounds and an outdoor pool.
Paco Sanchez Park
1290 Knox Court : Denver, CO 80204
Paco Sanchez park is in the West Colfax neighborhood. The park has a towering play structure, baseball fields, and open green space for the pups to enjoy. Paco Sanchez Park went through a big renovation recently. Re-Imagine Play is an innovative approach to playground design that goes beyond traditional equipment such as swings, slides, and monkey bars, to create a multi-generational play environment offering different activities that keep park users engaged, entertained and active.
Barnum Park

Barnum Park as a lot for the entire family to enjoy. The park is very spacious with a lake, softball fields, a bike park, and a dog park. There is also a recreation center with a swimming pool.
