Extreme Community Makeover serves eight Denver neighborhoods, which include Barnum, Elyria, Globeville, La Alma/Lincoln Park, Swansea, Villa Park, West Colfax, and Westwood. Of these neighborhoods, three encompass North Denver, including Globeville, Elyria and Swansea. There are a number of great organizations located in North Denver so jot these down for easy reference!
Focus Points Family Resources Center is a non-profit organization committed to serving low-income families in the greater northeast Denver area. Focus Points also has a social enterprise called Comal that focuses on Economic and Workforce Development. ECM hired an employee for our social enterprise Extreme Yard Care through Comal.

The GrowHaus is a nonprofit indoor farm, marketplace and educational center in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Their vision is a world where all communities have the means to nourish themselves and their mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood-based food system by serving as a hub for food distribution, production, education, and economic opportunity.
